So this morning, I wake up and grab my iPhone (well, not right after I woke up, but anyway.) When I take it off of it's dock, it usually makes a sound telling me it was disconnected, but today, oddly it didn't this time. So I plug it back in, to see if it was just a little off or something. It wasn't. However, the battery was fully charged and I only had one song that needed to be synced, so I was like "It can wait until tonight!".

Fast Forward 8 hours!

I get home, try plugging it in to my computer, and alas; nothing happens! I'm like "wtf." So I plug it into another computer, and nothing! I then proceed to panic a little bit (I spent $500 on this phone not 3 months ago!) and then decide to make an appointment to see the Geniuses at the Genius Bar at my local Apple Store. I go over there, wait for my name to be called, explain my problem. The guy takes a look at the dock connector with an awesome little flashlight/magnifying glass and is like "Well, there's your problem" he then proceeds to show me that there is a pin missing from the 40-pin connector. I panic a little more, figuring that Apple wouldn't replace it, even though it was under warranty. I was right. BUT. The guy then told me that since I'm a pretty cool guy, he would take care of me and went ahead and replaced the phone, free of charge, right then and there. I was amazed. I then proceeded to thank the Genius about 100 times while he reactivated my phone, and got it set up.

And now, my phone works perfectly, it is syncing from my latest backup (praise Apple for their idea to have the phone back itself up every day) and the world is a happy place.

In conclusion, Apple is the best company for customer service and for that, I give them all my love(read: money).
